Position
We are currently seeking a dependable and compassionate Weekend Caregiver to join our team.
Schedule:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday (Weekend Shift)
Starting Pay:
$17.00 per hour
$1,000 Sign-On Bonus
Receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus after successfully completing 120 days of employment and remaining in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and personal hygiene.
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and daily activities while promoting independence.
- Observe residents and promptly report any changes in condition to the nursing staff or supervisor.
- Maintain accurate documentation as required.
- Assist with housekeeping, laundry, meal service, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide exceptional resident care.
Qualifications
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required—we provide paid training.
- Must be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if required.
- Must successfully pass a background check in accordance with Idaho Department of Health and Welfare regulations. Applicants with prior convictions may be considered if they meet applicable state eligibility requirements.
