Veterinary Receptionist / Client Care Coordinator – Country Lane Animal Hospital (Clyde, NC)
Country Lane Animal Hospital—an independently owned mixed-animal veterinary practice with a long history of trusted client relationships—is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist/Client Care Coordinator to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, compassionate, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, helping ensure a positive experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first friendly face and voice for clients via phone, text, email, and in-person interactions
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for small-animal and farm/ambulatory calls, including urgent same-day fit-ins
- Guide clients through the visit process, from check-in to check-out, with excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate medical records, process payments, and handle prescription refill requests
- Ensure the lobby remains clean, welcoming, and organized
- Collaborate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to support efficient, quality care
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic)
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a busy environment
- Prior experience in a veterinary or medical reception role preferred
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and practice management software is a plus
- Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented mindset
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with one fixed weekday off (no weekends)
- Competitive hourly rate: $14.75 – $15.75/hour, based on experience
