What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Kennel Attendant & Evening Closer position at Country Kennel?
We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and compassionate individuals to join our team!
1. Weekend Kennel Attendant
- Schedule: Sundays 8-1:00 (approx. or til done)
- Responsibilities: Care for dogs (feeding, walking, cleaning kennels)
- Monitor health and behavior
- Provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Requirements: Must be dependable and comfortable handling dogs of all sizes
- Prior animal care experience preferred but not required
2. Evening Closer – Floor Cleaning & Laundry
- Schedule: Weekday evenings Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 3-6:30 (approx. 3.5 per night)
- Responsibilities: Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors
- Wash, dry, and fold laundry (dog bedding, towels, etc.)
- Ensure facility is clean and ready for the next day
- Requirements: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must be reliable and punctual
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay, tips and based on experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
