Responsibilities

• Assist with feeding, watering, and administering medications to animals in the kennel.
• Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards.
• Monitor animals’ behavior and health, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or supervisors promptly.
• Provide gentle handling and socialization to ensure animals are comfortable and stress-free.
• Support with daily administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and record keeping.
• Help with errands related to animal supplies or facility maintenance as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, shelter, or veterinary setting is preferred.
• Strong personal service background with adults, adolescents, or elderly individuals is beneficial for compassionate animal handling
• Familiarity with appointment scheduling systems enhances efficiency in managing animal care routines.
• Office building or clinic experience supports smooth administrative operations within the facility.
