Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of facilities, performing repairs, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Basic repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Fabricate and weld components as necessary for repairs or upgrades.
- Oversee facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Provide customer service support by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly.
- Light housekeeping task
- Floor care throughout the building (carpets, tile, laminate flooring)
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Previous customer service experience is highly valued.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks effectively.
