This position is for a 3-11p night clerk. Every other weekend is required. MUST BE RELIABLE! Looking to hire a full time for this shift. And also a part-time for 5-9p on this shift.
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Front Desk Clerk to be the first point of contact for our guests. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient check-in and check-out experiences
- Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and direct calls with professional phone etiquette
- Handle guest requests, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain high levels of customer service throughout their stay
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are addressed swiftly
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing details, and special requests
- Support night audit procedures by reconciling accounts and preparing reports for management
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise
- Ability to handle night audit responsibilities and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Previous hotel experience or resort background is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
