Painter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques and surface preparation. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from restoration to new construction, utilizing a wide range of tools and skills to deliver high-quality finishes. Candidates should possess a solid background in construction painting, blueprint reading, and related trades, ensuring efficient and precise work across multiple job sites.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion
• Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or power tools
• Perform detailed trim carpentry, fixture installation, and stucco work as needed for complete project finishes
• Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute painting plans and specifications
• Utilize hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, and carpentry tools for surface preparation and finishing touches
• Conduct restoration work on existing surfaces to improve appearance and durability
• Assist with masonry or concrete finishing tasks when required for project completion
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times on construction sites or renovation locations
• Maintain clean work areas and properly store tools and materials after each project

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting projects
• Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math for project planning
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, welding, and other relevant machinery
• Familiarity with construction site safety practices and maintenance procedures
• Experience with plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, framing carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, remodeling, restoration work, fixture installation, and maintenance person tasks is highly desirable
• Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints accurately
• Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills in both interior and exterior applications
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working at heights when necessary
• Construction site experience preferred; candidates should demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
