We are looking for a full time hotel maintenance engineer with a solid background in this field. If you enjoy fixing things and like working with a friendly group of people, then consider coming to work for us.
We are looking for someone that has experience with plumbing repairs and is comfortable with electrical outlets/switches. Simple repairs like touch up painting, fixing vacuums and repairs to larger equipment, bell carts, changing air filters in HVAC systems, and whatever else comes your way. It's a 20 year old building, so there are some fun challenges we come up with from time to time.

Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping etc.
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
- Do garden/yard upkeep of lawn areas, collecting trash etc.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and fixing switches
- Replace air conditioning filters and cleaning ice machines
- Monthly testing of smoke detectors
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
- Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
Skills
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent
