Position Summary
The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. This position ensures guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas meet the cleanliness and quality standards established by Homestyle Hospitality. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to providing excellent hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures
- Make beds and replace linens, towels, and guest amenities
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors as needed
- Dust furniture, surfaces, and décor
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Restock room supplies such as soap, shampoo, coffee, and toiletries
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Maintain housekeeping carts and cleaning equipment in an organized condition
- Follow company safety and sanitation standards
- Ensure guest privacy and security at all times
- Assist with cleaning of hallways, lobbies, laundry areas, and other public spaces when required
Attendance & Reliability
- Maintain reliable and consistent attendance
- Arrive on time and ready to work for scheduled shifts
- Provide proper notice if unable to report to work
- Support the team by helping ensure rooms are cleaned on schedule for arriving guests
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–30 pounds
- Good communication skills and professional attitude

Schedule
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Part-time or full-time shifts may be available
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
