Front Desk Agent

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team at a premier resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality management.

Duties

• Greet and check-in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Manage phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing reservations and guest requests promptly.
• Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate reporting of daily transactions.
• Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs effectively.
• Process payments and manage guest accounts accurately throughout their stay.
• Provide multilingual support to enhance guest experience for non-English speaking visitors when applicable.

Experience

• Previous experience in front desk operations or customer service within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong skills in hospitality management and guest services are essential.
• Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
• A positive attitude, professionalism, and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
