Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and local attractions.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Provide assistance in booking reservations for guests, including dining and activities.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotels or guest services is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing guest relations.
- Knowledge of front desk operations within a hospitality environment is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A background in hospitality is beneficial but not mandatory.
