Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting.
- Care for floors through proper sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning techniques to ensure a polished appearance.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas, including toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning materials.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards.
- Support housekeeping management with inventory control and organization of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques such as floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and janitorial practices is advantageous.
- Experience working in hospitality environments helps in understanding guest expectations for cleanliness and service quality.
