Country Inn & Suites – Airport is a well-established Choice Hotels property located near Central Illinois Regional Airport in Bloomington, IL. We are a team-oriented hotel committed to genuine hospitality. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Night Auditor to run our front desk overnight and keep the hotel balanced, secure, and ready for the next day.
THE ROLE
As our Night Auditor, you run the hotel overnight. You'll balance the day's transactions, close out the business day in our hotel system, welcome late-arriving guests, keep the property secure, and set things up for the morning team. If you're reliable, comfortable working independently, and good with numbers and details, this is your role.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Run the nightly audit and close out the business day in our hotel management system
- Post room charges and taxes, and balance cash and credit card transactions
- Generate and file the required nightly reports for management
- Check in late arrivals, handle check-outs, take reservations, and answer guest questions
- Process payments and keep an accurate cash drawer
- Conduct overnight security walks and keep the property secure
- Keep the lobby and front desk area clean during quiet hours
- Prep the breakfast area to help the morning team get started

- Reliable transportation for overnight shifts
- Available for overnight shifts including weekends and holidays
- Hotel or night audit experience is a plus — we'll train the right person
