Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Set up buffet stations, replenish food supplies, and ensure all items are fresh and appealing
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations by cleaning tables, utensils, and equipment
- Assist with food handling and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing special dietary needs
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing
- Buss tables promptly and efficiently to maintain a tidy dining environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery during busy periods
- Support catering or banquet functions as needed, including setup and breakdown
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately if required for cashiering duties
- Experience in cleaning, bussing tables, or host/host roles is beneficial
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation are a plus
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Attention to detail in food handling, presentation, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work early mornings or flexible hours as needed in a hospitality setting
