Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and quality of linens and garments in a hotel environment. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional service while ensuring that all laundry tasks are performed efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Clean and launder, towels, and linens according to established standards.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry items for distribution throughout the hotel.
- Maintain cleanliness in the laundry area by following proper sanitation procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel setting, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as necessary.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
