CNC Machinist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with the ability to work with various materials and precision measuring instruments. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes to produce parts according to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings to determine machining operations.
• Perform CNC programming, to optimize machining processes.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members in a lean manufacturing environment to improve production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques as required for assembly tasks.

Skills

• Proficient in CNC programming and operation of CNC milling machines and lathes.
• Mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing processes.
• Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tasks.
• Knowledge of tooling requirements for various machining operations.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely within the manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles for process improvement.
