Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial tasks, to ensure consistent quality standards.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster a motivated, efficient work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to verify cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Develop work schedules that optimize staffing levels based on occupancy rates and operational needs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial services within a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning equipment, laundry processes, and janitorial standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with hotel operations or hospitality management is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
