Duties
- Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of residential and commercial pools.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Perform water quality testing and chemical balancing to ensure safe swimming conditions.
- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory used during visits.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pool maintenance needs and recommendations.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with chemicals and equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely.
- Familiarity with equipment repair techniques related to pool systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in maintaining pool cleanliness and functionality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
