What are the responsibilities and job description for the Babysitter position at Country Club of Virginia, Inc.?
- Greet children and parents warmly and communicate with parents at Play Center drop-off and pick-up
- Provide comfort, cleaning, and care as appropriate for infants, play games with children, and monitor the interactions between children
- Manage children's behavior using developmentally appropriate interventions and strategies
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of the Play Center
- Exhibit proper phone etiquette and personal interactions to meet Club standards
- Complete other tasks contributing to the success of the Youth and Aquatics Department
Year-round, Part-time — Approximately 15-30 hours per week
Hours of Operation
Morning Shifts:
- Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM-12:30 PM
Evening Shifts:
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 3:15-5:45 PM
Weekend Hours:
- Saturday-Sunday: 8:00 AM-1:00 PM, 3:15-5:45 PM
Additional Youth Events take place throughout the weekend Friday-Sunday.
Qualifications
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to provide exceptional care and customer service
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety
- Previous experience working with children required, preferably infants through elementary-school age
- High school education preferred
