Responsibilities
- Create visually compelling website layouts using graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD.
- Develop wireframes and prototypes to illustrate website structure and user flows utilizing tools like Balsamiq, Axure, or InVision.
- Implement responsive web design principles to ensure compatibility across devices using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.
- Collaborate on UX/UI design to enhance usability and accessibility for diverse audiences.
- Maintain and update existing websites built on content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or SharePoint.
- Optimize websites for SEO using best practices in web accessibility and usability standards.
- Integrate motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects or Adobe Animate to enhance user engagement.
- Conduct user research and data analysis through Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to inform design improvements.
- Assist in website maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing new features through front-end development and web development techniques.
- Stay current with industry trends in digital marketing, web analytics, and emerging technologies like Node.js or Redux to continuously improve site performance.
Skills
- Proficiency in digital design tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, InVision.
- Strong understanding of web development languages: HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/Less), JavaScript (including frameworks like Angular or React), PHP, MySQL.
- Experience with CMS platforms: WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles focusing on usability and accessibility standards.
