Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their visit
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and integrity
- Assist in food preparation and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cashier station, dining area, and food prep zones
- Support food service operations by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring quick turnaround times
Requirements
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience with food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining accuracy in transactions
- Basic math skills for handling cash and retail math calculations
- Familiarity with food industry standards, serving protocols, and food handling safety regulations
- Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is advantageous but not required
