We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Marketing & Radio Sales Specialist to join our team. This role blends radio advertising sales with strategic marketing execution, focusing on building strong client relationships and delivering effective multi-platform advertising solutions.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales, account management, and media or digital advertising, and is motivated by achieving revenue goals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and maintain new business opportunities while growing existing client accounts
  • Sell integrated advertising solutions across radio, digital, social media, and event marketing platforms
  • Build customized marketing campaigns and advertising packages tailored to client goals and budgets
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and media plans
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Collaborate with internal marketing & programming team members to execute and optimize client campaigns
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring high retention, satisfaction, and long-term partnerships
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide clients with ROI-driven insights and reporting
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and local business needs
  • Represent stations at community events, networking functions, and promotional appearances

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, media sales, advertising, or account management is a benefit
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, radio advertising, and integrated marketing solutions
  • Experience with prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, and closing sales
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and sales tracking tools
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to attend client meetings and local events
  • Experience in radio, broadcast, or media sales is a plus
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, social media advertising, and digital marketing strategies
  • Background in B2B sales and client-facing roles
  • Established network within the local business community
