Summary:
- The Design Consultant/Kitchen/Bath Remodeling Salesperson shall be responsible for providing estimates for kitchen and bathrooms including complete renovations as well as basic replacement of existing layouts of cabinets and countertops and assisting the Design Team/Sales Team, and Management Team at our Martinsburg, WV showroom,
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for greeting customers, vendors and clients as they enter the building.
- Responsible for inquiries from callers/guests, and taking and relaying messages.
- Monitor and maintain office equipment, and maintain a tidy reception area.
- Responsible for handling a wide variety of situations and conflicts involving the administrative function of the location.
- Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
- Prepare routine and advanced correspondence including letters, estimates, and reports.
- Assist Sales Team with customers and estimates.
- Follow up on estimates in a timely manner
- Perform other clerical work as assigned.
- knowledgeable in 20/20 Design and in possession of Levels 101 & 201 Certification and NKBA AKBD Certification
- Saturdays are required.
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
- Bachelor Degree in Administration or related field such as Sales or Business, and two years of related work experience; or a high school diploma and four (4) years of related work experience are required for this position.
- Prior experience in a sales field or office environment.
- Possession of a valid state driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be customer service driven, as you may be the first contact individuals make with our company.
- Must be a self-starter and have a desire to produce quality work.
- Ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.
- Must have advanced computer skills to conduct internet research and perform data entry.
- Proficient in data entry, Microsoft Outlook, Word and EXCEL.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment consisting of a diverse population.

Salary Expectations:
- Entry-level / junior designer: $40–55k
- Experienced designer: $55–70k
- Senior designer w/ client base: $70k
- All ranges total pay includes commissions and incentives
Salary plus commission, spiffs and bonuses.
