Role Overview:
This is a cross-functional intern role covering both sides of the customer lifecycle at CounterFind: bringing in new business and growing the accounts we already have. You’ll split your time between our Sales team, where you’ll support outbound prospecting and pipeline-building in an SDR-style capacity, and our Client Success team, where you’ll support day-to-day client communications, reporting, and account organization. It’s a great opportunity to build real, hands-on experience in both Sales and Client Success.
Responsibilities:
This role sits across two connected functions, so you’ll work closely with both our Sales and Client Success teams:
Client Success:
- Support the Client Success team with day-to-day account administration and organization.
- Help prepare client reports, updates, and basic account insights.
- Assist with onboarding tasks and tracking client adoption of the platform.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account documentation and internal records.
- Help monitor account activity and flag anything that looks like it needs a closer look.
- Join client calls and meetings to observe and learn relationship management in practice.
- Communicate professionally with clients via email and other channels under team guidance.
- Research prospective and existing client organizations to support account planning and renewal conversations.
- Support outreach efforts such as check-in emails, renewal touchpoints, or scheduling, under CSM guidance.
Sales & Business Development:
- Support outbound prospecting by researching target companies and decision-makers to help build a pipeline of qualified leads.
- Assist with generating interest in CounterFind’s platform, under SDR guidance.
- Help qualify inbound leads and coordinate discovery calls for the Sales team.
- Help maintain and organize lead and account data across CRM tools, partnering with SDRs and Account Executives to keep pipeline data accurate.
- Collaborate with Product and Operations on cross-functional projects, and help identify ways to streamline workflows across both teams.
Key Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to tone in client-facing and prospecting outreach.
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and follow-through.
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts, leads, or tasks at once.
- Eager to learn, coachable, and proactive about asking questions.
- Collaborative team player with a positive, adaptable attitude.
- Comfortable working with data in tools like Google Sheets, Slides, or a CRM.
Qualifications:
Required
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.
- No prior professional experience required — relevant coursework, campus involvement, or part-time work that shows organization and communication skills is a plus.
- Genuine interest in building a career in Sales, Client Success, Account Management, or Customer Experience.
Preferred
- Interest in sports, music, entertainment, licensing, or brand protection.
- Familiarity with intellectual property concepts such as trademarks and copyrights.
- Exposure to CRM platforms, Google Workspace, or AI tools.
- Comfortable with proactive, consistent outreach — not afraid to send a follow-up email or pick up the phone.
What We Offer:
- A fun, fast-paced startup environment with a strong, collaborative team culture.
- Real, hands-on experience in both Client Success and Sales at a growing SaaS company.
- Direct mentorship from Client Success and Sales leaders.
- Paid hourly compensation.
- The opportunity to work with world-class sports, music, and entertainment brands.
