The Role
We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient Sommelier to join our tight-knit team. As the Sommelier, you will be a key role in our dining service, guiding 16–18 guests through complex beverage pairings that must perfectly sync with Chef Sam Hart’s 10- to 14-course menus.
- Pairing Execution: Deliver world-class wine service for our tiered pairing options as well as our curated spirit-free program.
- Storytelling: Verbally present wine selections to guests, connecting the producer’s story and the wine’s profile to the quarterly theme and musical playlist.
- Program Curation: Collaborate with the Beverage Director to maintain a diverse Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence bottle list of 600 labels.
- Cellar & Inventory Management: Oversee the daily organization of the wine cellar, manage inventory counts, and ensure all wines are stored and served at precise temperatures.
- Staff Education: Lead training sessions for the front-of-house team to ensure deep product knowledge and impeccable service standards.
- Service Excellence: Assist in all aspects of the "shared experience" service, including clearing, resetting, and supporting the kitchen team in our open-counter environment.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
