About the Role
Count on That is looking for a dynamic and highly driven Managing Partner to serve as our Seattle-based leadership presence and the face of the firm in the region. This individual will oversee all four divisions of the firm, ensuring smooth operations, strong collaboration, and high-quality service delivery. While direct day-to-day execution is not required this role demands someone who can confidently step in when needed, make decisions, and represent the firm with professionalism and integrity.
This is a role for an impactful, confident leader with demonstrated reliability and sound ethical judgment, natural presence, and the ability to build trust across teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight and leadership for all four operational divisions of the firm.
- Serve as Count on That’s primary representative in Seattle and be our firm’s professional face in the region.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and client interactions with confidence and clarity.
- Support supervisors and managers without micromanaging; step in to resolve issues when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Partner and leadership team.
- Support business development and sales initiatives.
- Uphold and model the firm's values, contributing to a positive, inspiring, and accountable culture.
- This exempt leadership role requires flexibility outside regular business hours.
Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be a Licensed US CPA
- Based in or near Seattle, WA; able to meet in person as required.
- Able to lead with clarity, confidence, and professionalism.
- High integrity and outstanding character. Someone the team and clients can trust.
- Experience in Operations, Tax, Consulting, or a related leadership discipline.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting; ability to step in to assist or troubleshoot.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Should have sales or client-facing experience.
- Expertise or background in i.e international taxation, Audits, Business Valuation etc. is a plus.
