We are seeking a (Bi-lingual /Spanish Bonus) Counselor to join our team of professionals (Evenings and Weekends Bonus). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing counseling services to patients with addiction, mental health, and sex offending issues. This position requires understanding of addiction medicine, psychiatry, and the criminal justice fields. Counselors work closely with the treatment team to provide individualized care and treatment plans for our clients. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about helping people and have the ability to build strong relationships with stake holders.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling services.
- Assess and diagnose mental health, substance use and sex offender issues.
- Develop treatment plans for clients based on individual needs.
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate services for clients.
- Educate clients and their families about addiction, mental health and sex offender issues.
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Ensure all documentation is done in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
