What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Technician position at Counseling & Treatment Center of Utah?
This position will offer the opportunity to provide patient care with a breakthrough treatment modality for the treatment of depression. We are seeking an individual who will be trained to administer in-office therapeutic treatments under the direction of our treating physician. This individual’s primary responsibilities will be to administer and manage the TMS treatments with careful attention to detail, provide knowledge, experience, emotional, social or practical help for each client, and interact regularly with clients. There will also be an opportunity to do neurofeedback treatments in the future.
- Health Care Clinical Professional experience preferred but not required
- One or more years of related experience in a customer or patient-facing role
Job Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Explain and administer procedures to patients
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy regarding all details
- Monitor a patient for medical symptoms
- Provide medical intervention in an emergency situation
- Contribute to a positive work environment
- Act courteously and with tact in dealing with patients, visitors and the public
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Be or become certified in basic life support
- Follow established treatment and office procedures
- Physically able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend
- Visual and auditory dexterity
- Show example of positive, happy, helpful, patient-focused attitude in body language and communications
- 20-25 hours/week
- Must be able to work the same hours each day Monday-Friday

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
