Counseling Center of West Michigan (CCWM), Michigan’s premier provider-first practice, is growing! We’re excited to bring two brand-new campuses to the greater Lansing area, and we’re looking for providers to join our founding teams.

Our onboarding and credentialing process takes approximately six weeks, so providers who begin the interview process now can be fully onboarded, credentialed, and ready to see clients when our Lansing campuses open.

ABOUT COUNSELING CENTER OF WEST MICHIGAN

Counseling Center of West Michigan was founded in 2019 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, by a therapist who couldn’t find a suitable workplace in the area and believed there had to be a better option.

After surveying more than 200 private practice therapists about their experiences and their “wish list” for the ideal workplace, CCWM was born.

Today, CCWM has 13 locations, with two more opening in Lansing soon. While we’ve grown significantly, one thing has never changed: our providers and their experience comes first.

We believe that when providers have the support they need and deserve, are paid exceptionally well, and have the independence and autonomy to practice in a way that works for them, everyone benefits—including the patients we serve.

INCOME POTENTIAL

Our full-time providers—defined as approximately 28 sessions per week—averaged $120,000 in income in 2025, with several therapists and counselors exceeding $150,000.

Whether you see 6 patients a week or 45, your fee split is the same.

We don’t believe pressure to produce is a healthy approach for therapists. Our generous fee split is designed to allow you to build the practice that works for you—without sacrificing the support and infrastructure you need to succeed.

And because CCWM takes care of the administrative side of your practice, you can focus on your patients—not running a business.

CCWM IS PROUD TO OFFERGENEROUS UNCOMPLICATED FEE SPLITS

• 55% for LLMSW and LLPC
• 70% for in-person psychotherapy for LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LLP
• 80% for fully licensed telehealth-only therapists who do not use office space

Fee splits are not based on production, and no corners are cut when it comes to in-office support.

Please note: We are not currently hiring for telehealth-only positions unless the provider is bringing their own full caseload, as our immediate focus is filling our new Lansing locations. LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS

All candidates must be licensed by the State of Michigan as one of the following:

LPC | LMFT | LLP | LMSW | LP | LLMSW | LLPC
