About the Role
As a caregiver, you will provide personalized, hands-on care and companionship to clients in their homes. Our caregivers play an essential role in maintaining comfort, dignity, and independence for those we serve
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
- Monitor and report changes in clients physical or emotional condition.
- Support medication reminders (as directed).
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Safely transfer clients from bed to chair and back
Requirements
- Prior caregiving experience preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Genuine compassion, patience, and a caring attitude.
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
- Reliable and punctual with good communication skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and provide references.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation strongly preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or over
- CPR card preferred but will train
