The Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) is the sole accreditor for Nurse Anesthesia Education. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Accreditation Specialist to support the accreditation of nurse anesthesia programs nationwide. This role reviews program materials for compliance with national standards, prepares analytical reports and decision documents, and serves as a key resource to educational programs navigating the accreditation process.
Success in this position requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, sound professional judgment, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. The Accreditation Specialist must be comfortable interpreting complex standards, communicating clearly with diverse stakeholders, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining precision in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong technical proficiency is essential. The role requires advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for drafting formal correspondence, preparing analytical reports, tracking accreditation data, and developing Board materials. The Accreditation Specialist must be comfortable conducting and participating in remote meetings, webinars, and virtual presentations, as well as managing digital files within document management and database systems. Accuracy, organization, and efficiency in handling electronic records are critical.
