What are the responsibilities and job description for the SURGERY LEAD RN position at Coulee Medical Center?
The Surgery Lead RN provides high-quality, patient-centered nursing care. This role addresses the psychosocial, physical, and clinical needs of patients within the surgical environment and functions across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative settings.
The Surgery Lead RN collaborates closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, efficient, and effective patient care. In addition to the responsibilities of a Surgery RN, the Lead RN provides day-to-day operational leadership for Surgical Services, coordinates staffing and workflow, supports quality and regulatory initiatives, and serves as a clinical resource and liaison for staff, providers, and leadership.
Qualifications: Must have a current Washington State RN license. In addition, BLS, ACLS, PALS & NRP certifications is also required. If not certified, certification will be obtained within one year of hire date. Patient ratio is lower than what you will find elsewhere, Apply today!

- $5,000 Sign-on Bonus (paid upon hire)

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Education
- Associates Degree in Nursing: Registered Nurse
- Minimum Experience
- Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience as a in a nursing leadership, supervisory, or charge position.
- Background in precepting/training/mentoring staff
- 2-3 years’ previous clinical experience in a hospital setting
- Adult education experience preferred
$3.50/hr. night differential/$2.50/hr. weekend differential

Pay/Grade Range: The pay grade range for this position has been finalized for the facility according to an evaluation of the roles’ duties and requirements. The selected candidate will be placed within the appropriate range based on job knowledge, skills, education and experience.
