Cougar is looking for an experienced candidate to join our Cutter Grind Department!

Responsibilities:
- Follow Routing directions
- Program Cutter Grind machines (ANCA and Walter Cutter grind machines)
- Flute and Sharpen custom cutting tools
- Inspect resulting tools for adherence to blueprint specifications using shadowgraph
- Interprets geometric dimensions and tolerances on print
- Able to meet production expectations and deadlines
- Provide suggestions and improvements to existing processes/procedures
- Follow safety procedures and regulations
Requirements:
- Cutting Tool Experience preferred but not required
- Anca / Walter (or Equivalent ) Programming Experience
- Technically Oriented
- Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Strong Communication Skills
- Self-Starter (Able to work independently)
- Basic math and geometry skills
- Punctual, dependable
