Couey’s CATV is seeking an experienced Directional Drilling Operator to join our growing team. This role is critical in supporting our underground utility construction projects. You’ll be responsible for operating horizontal directional drilling equipment to drill, install, and pull back conduit or pipe for fiber optic and coax systems.

Salary: $25 - $38 Hourly

Key Responsibilities
- Operate directional drilling equipment with precision and safety
- Read and interpret utility maps, blueprints, and job specifications
- Drill pilot holes and pull back conduit or pipe in various soil conditions
- Maintain and inspect drill rigs, tooling, and support equipment
- Troubleshoot drilling issues in real-time to ensure efficiency and safety
- Adhere to company safety procedures and all DOT regulations
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating directional drilling equipment
- Must possess a valid class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
- Must pass a pre-employment and ongoing drug screening
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
