The Global Trade Marketing Director of KYLIE JENNER AND KIM KARDASHIAN BEAUTY BUSINESSES will play a leadership role in providing strategic commercial guidance to drive global business development, sponsor commercial excellence and readiness and support the delivery of Net Revenues Growth and Market Share Gain of our two iconic brands.
The Director will work hand in hand with both affiliates and DTC team to deliver robust, innovative, on-brand and high-quality launch and activations programs. He will serve as as key partner with our JV teams based in LA.
He/She will effectively leverage experience, knowledge and skills to encourage strategic thinking and set challenging goals and objectives balancing brand, company needs.
As these functions overlap between multiple teams, the individual will need to demonstrate and maintain a strong communication framework across the various organizational groups and drive best practice across the region to ensure maximum revenue production.
Key other stakeholders include the global multifunctional partners and regular interaction with Senior Leadership.
The Director is a well-rounded dynamic and passionate professional with experience in the beauty industry, background in selective distribution to lead and evolve the brands’ presence globally, aligned to the broader strategies and objectives of the business. His/her team will lead the bridge of marketing strategy and commercial effectiveness.
The Director will report into the Global Senior Vice President Global Integration with a strong collaboration with the General Manager and the JV lead team.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Commercial excellence
Define Commercial Guidelines and ensure that defined strategy is well implemented (OGSM / Product / Distribution / Price/ Promo / Media)
Based on Global Business plan, guide /lead by influence and partner with country / channel leads to elaborate their business plan and budget
Ensure Global Trade Marketing Team stays on top of operational marketing strategy deployment in regions/channels, consolidating trade plans, monitoring results, providing key learning and recommendations .
Lead commercial readiness to ensure respect of the timelines to achieve maximum launch success.
Global markets (including DTC) coordination and JV partnership
As a voice of the brand and marketing partner in regions, support brand growth , and contribute strategic marketing plans definition by market/channel (DTC).
Ensure that regions/markets needs are perfectly captured, consolidated and integrated in the global brand tool kits.
Provide overview of brand overall performance in regions and define white space / opportunities
Supervise turnover monitoring, risks, opportunities and propose mitigation plans
Help define and optimize Key Performance Indicators for the business
Serve as the commercial point of contact for omni overview with our JV partners.
Strategic – 3Y plan development
Co-lead the strategic plan development in providing strategic guidance on Brand A&CP model, launch innovation rate and commercial initiatives.
Manage 3Y brand P&L through driving recommendations and decisions to achieve the brand’s global objectives.
Responsible for defining winning line-up, initiative seizing and right price positioning with the help of LCM and Brand Team.
Transversal chief of staff activities supporting the business planning & governance process
Refresh rules of engagement for full omni business covering areas such as but not limited to IMP cadence or promotional strategy.
Regularly drive and present topline executive business reviews to Senior Leadership and Licensor
Lead, coach drive & develop Trade Marketing pole including development of managers for both businesses
QUALIFICATIONS
We’d love to see candidates who have:Essential:
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is a plus
10 years of related trade / marketing experience
Prestige/luxury brand experience preferred
