As the Metal Fabricator Finish Specialist, you will work on the design, fabrication installation of custom railing, architectural elements partition walls, such as fireplaces, and rangehoods. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with expertise in MIG, TIG stick welding, with the ability to produce high-quality finished products. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in layout, fitting welding.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform high-quality MIG TIG welds on mild steel, stainless steel aluminum.
· Finish Patina metals – Steel, Brass, Bronze, Copper, etc.
· Read interpret shop drawings to ensure the precise fabrication of components.
· Assemble metal components to produce high-quality finished products, ensuring final details meet design specifications.
· Collaborate with the design installation teams to deliver custom architectural elements railings.
· Ensure safety accuracy in all welding fabrication processes.
· Maintain repair tools and equipment, ensuring they are in top condition for daily operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-4 years of experience in metal fabrication welding, including layout, fitting assembly.
- Experience in MIG TIG welding is required.
- Knowledge of general construction practices is essential.
- Ability to read interpret shop drawings technical specifications.
- Physical ability to handle heavy materials operate machinery safely.
- Excellent communication, organizational project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as part of a team.
- Knowledge or passion for woodworking, cabinetry, or the home building industry is a plus.

- Technical skills: Technical skills are critical for the Metal Fabricator Finish Specialist to accurately fabricate assemble a wide range of metal components. This role requires the ability to read interpret shop drawings use metalworking tools like grinders, saws plasma cutters is crucial for precise fabrication.

They must have strong written verbal communication skills providing updates on the progress of projects ensuring that tasks are completed according to design specifications deadlines.
- Attention to detail: Attention to detail is essential for ensuring that all fabricated welded components meet exact tolerances design standards. The Metal Fabricator Finish Specialist must be meticulous in cutting, grinding assembling materials, as well as conducting quality checks to produce high-quality finished products.
- Problem-solving skills: Problem-solving skills are crucial for diagnosing resolving unforeseen design or material issues and ensure smooth workflow project completion. They must be innovative in identifying proactively troubleshooting to resolve fabrication or welding challenges during production.
- Mechanical aptitude: Mechanical aptitude is necessary to operate maintain a variety of welding metalworking equipment. The Metal Fabricator Finish Specialist must have a solid understanding of the mechanical functions of these tools the ability to perform minor repairs, as well as a general knowledge of construction practices related to metalwork installation.
