As the Maintenance Facilities Technician, you will support the operation, reliability safety of our production equipment and facility infrastructure. You will work closely with our production teams to troubleshoot, repair maintain a range of woodworking machinery, including CNC routers, edge banders, saws, sanders dust collection systems. Experience with CNC programs and a background in cabinetry or woodworking is strongly preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform preventive corrective maintenance on CNC machinery, woodworking equipment, compressors, dust collection systems facility infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic hydraulic issues to minimize downtime ensure machines operate at peak performance.
- Read interpret equipment manuals, wiring diagrams work orders to properly diagnose repair equipment.
- Assist with CNC program adjustments, machine calibration tooling changes (preferred).
- Respond to emergency/unscheduled maintenance needs during production shifts.
- Maintain facility systems including lighting, plumbing, minor HVAC tasks general building repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools diagnostic equipment safely effectively.
- Perform basic fabrication, carpentry or machining as needed to support production facilities work.
- Keep maintenance logs, perform daily machine checks ensure documentation is accurate up to date.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure machinery meets safety, accuracy performance standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized safe work environment in alignment with company safety protocols.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5–6 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, woodworking, millwork or a related production environment strongly preferred.
- Experience with CNC machinery, production equipment facility systems required; CNC program knowledge strongly preferred.
- Background in cabinetry, woodworking or architectural millwork is a strong plus.
- Ability to read interpret schematics, manuals, shop drawings technical documents.
- Advanced mechanical, electrical, pneumatic hydraulic troubleshooting experience.
- Physical ability to lift 75 pounds, work in varying temperatures safely navigate an active shop environment.
- Forklift operation capability or willingness to be trained.
- Comfort communicating equipment status, downtime causes, and repair timelines to supervisors and leadership.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving communication skills.
- Ability to work independently collaboratively across departments.

- Technical skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose repair complex CNC woodworking machinery. Understanding of tooling, calibration precision requirements is essential.
- Communication: Ability to clearly communicate equipment status, repair needs timelines to supervisors production team members.
- Attention to detail: Ensures accurate machine adjustments, inspection documentation adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.
