Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 per year (commensurate with experience and certifications)

Role Description
As a Senior Accountant at Cottonwood Healthcare, you will play a vital role on our corporate finance team in American Fork, UT. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to work closely with the VP of Finance and a growing accounting team. You will be involved in:
- Month-end close procedures
- Financial statement preparation and analysis
- Journal entry review and general ledger maintenance
- Account and bank reconciliations
- Conducting cyclical audits and supporting annual audits
- Training and mentoring staff accountants
- Supporting accounts payable processes and internal financial controls
- Contributing to special projects and cross-department initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in the Skilled Nursing and Long-term Care industry is a strong plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 annually
- Candidates with CPA, CMA, or MBA credentials may qualify for compensation at the higher end of the range
- Pay Schedule: Bi-monthly (10th and 25th)
- Paid Time Off: 15 days PTO per year, accrued
- Holidays: 7 paid holidays, including one floating holiday of your choice
- Cell Phone Reimbursement: $100/month
- Insurance: Eligible for Cottonwood Healthcare’s health, dental, and vision plans
- Retirement: Company 401(k) plan eligibility
