Position Summary
Cottonwood Community School is seeking a Title I Intervention Teacher / Instructional Support Leader to strengthen student achievement through a schoolwide focus on literacy and mathematics. This position supports MTSS implementation by coordinating intervention systems and providing direct academic support to identified students through Tier 2 and Tier 3 services.
The Instructional Support Leader collaborates closely with school and district administration to ensure Title I services are aligned to student needs, implemented with fidelity, and supported through effective use of data, scheduling, and staff collaboration.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and valid Arizona teaching certificate
Title I Teacher

K–8 Reading Endorsement OR K–8 Mathematics Endorsement (required)

Minimum of five (5) years of successful classroom experience

Demonstrated experience with MTSS Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 supports

Strong skills in assessment, progress monitoring, and data-based instructional decision-making

Ability to lead collaboration, professional learning, and campus intervention systems
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Direct Intervention (Tier 2 & Tier 3)

Provide direct Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention services in reading and/or mathematics

Deliver evidence-based instruction aligned to student needs and skill gaps

Monitor student progress regularly and adjust intervention plans based on data
MTSS Coordination & Intervention Systems

Coordinate MTSS intervention processes including student identification, placement, progress monitoring cycles, and documentation

Support grade-level teams in planning and implementing interventions aligned to student data

Work closely with administrators to develop and maintain effective intervention/enrichment schedules
Assessment & Data Leadership

Coordinate and support administration of benchmark assessments and intervention-related testing

Track schoolwide and student-level data to guide instruction, intervention planning, and student support decisions

Maintain organized records and documentation to support program monitoring and accountability
Professional Learning & PLC Facilitation

Facilitate PLCs focused on student learning, data review, intervention planning, and instructional improvement

Lead site-based professional development in literacy, math, MTSS implementation, and intervention practices

Provide coaching and instructional support to build staff capacity and strengthen Tier 1 instruction
Title I Program Oversight & Compliance

Coordinate daily implementation of Title I services on campus

Oversee and support Title I staff and service delivery expectations

Collaborate with school and district administration to ensure alignment with state and federal Title I compliance requirements
