Location: Dubuque, Iowa - in office

What You'll Do
As a Claims Adjuster, you’ll learn how to guide individuals through the claims process and ensure they receive the support and resolution they need. You’ll become the go-to person managing claims from start to finish. You’ll build relationships and guide people primarily over the phone and through email, serving as their main point of contact throughout the claims process. Through our training program, you’ll gain a strong understanding of insurance and claims principles so you can confidently and independently manage claims for our clients.
Daily Responsibilities
- Investigating claims
- Gathering and reviewing key information
- Communicating with claimants, service providers, employers, and attorneys
- Making decisions about coverage and claim outcomes
- Negotiating and resolving claims
- Managing multiple cases in an organized, timely manner
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in an office or customer service setting
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay on track
