Responsibilities:
-Helping every resident live their best life everyday through meaningful and purposeful engagement
- Plan and organize events and activities for residents
- Transport residents to from activities
- Implement recreational programing to promote physical and mental well-being
- Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or memory-related conditions
- Support clients in an assisted living environment
Skills:
-strategic and forward thinking
- Strong love and passion to work with older adults
- Strong schedule management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and their families
- Experience in event planning for organizing engaging activities for residents
- Understanding of dementia care principles and techniques
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining empathy and compassion
