Location: Lagrange, GA 30240
Schedule: Every Other Week | 8-Hour Shifts (Flexible Scheduling)
Pay: $50/hour (1099, Weekly Pay)

Cottage Grove Home Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one care for a medically complex young adult in the home setting.

Patient Overview:

19-year-old male with leukodystrophy requiring skilled nursing support in the home
Neurologically impaired with progressive disease impacting mobility and overall function
Non-ambulatory and dependent on caregivers for all activities of daily living
Requires close monitoring for respiratory status, neurological changes, and overall clinical stability
Needs total care support including positioning, transfers, and daily routines

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring
Provide total care assistance including ADLs, hygiene, and positioning
Monitor respiratory status and intervene as needed
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Ensure proper use and care of medical equipment
Maintain a safe and supportive home environment
Document care accurately and in a timely manner
Communicate effectively with family and care team

Qualifications:

Active Georgia RN license
Current CPR/BLS certification
TB screening required
Experience with neurological or medically complex patients preferred
Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills
