Cottage Grove High School Assistant Boys and Girls Swim Coach

Cottage Grove High School is searching for an Assistant boys and girls swim coach who shares and is committed to:

• Recognizing all levels of athletic achievement through the celebration of improvement.   Advocate for all participants to attain an opportunity for athletic participation, physical fitness, health, well-being, and champion’s attitude.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee and coach both the boys and girls swim teams
• Monitor academic progress and eligibility
• Effectively analyze and teach the fundamentals skills and strategies of the sport
• Assist with planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluation practices session along with develop, implement, and evaluate match plans and strategies
• Serve as a leader, mentor, and role-model to the student-athletes of the program
• Work with AD to prepare competitive team schedule, and fund-raising initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all CGHS athletic department, OSAA policies, procedures, and regulations
• Ability to serve the entire CGHS Athletic Department through supporting other programs, assisting in off-season game and event management, and willingness and ability to fund-raise.

**Prior coaching experience preferred at the high school level or club level.

**High School teaching or work experience is preferred

Compensation

Compensation will be granted according to the current salary schedule.
