What are the responsibilities and job description for the Upper Level Recreational and Team Coach position at Cottage Grove Gymnastics?
Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our growing program! We are a recreational gym with a team program that competes under High School rules in MAGA (Minnesota Amateur Gymnastics Association). A benefit of this league is that the gymnasts can continue to increase their difficulty on their stronger events without the restrictions that are found in the Junior Olympic and Xcel programs.
Pay is dependent on experience. We are looking for a coach with strong spotting skills (tsuks on vault, giants and clear hip handstands on bars, etc) who also understands how to train skills safely with proper technique. Our current group of gymnasts have skill levels comparable to USA developmental levels 4-8, or up to Xcel Diamond.
We are a club on the rise and are looking for the right person to help us grow our program. We can immediately start the right person with our training team and competitive teams. For more hours if desired, upper levels of rec classes too!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
