About the Role
The Technical Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers while identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities for industrial gearboxes and related products. This position serves as a key liaison between customers and internal engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and appropriate technical solutions are provided.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge, consultative selling skills, and relationship management capabilities to drive profitable sales growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and expand the company's presence in the industrial gearbox market.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business/marketing or a technical field preferred; and/or three to five years industrial sales experience.
- Possess technical aptitude and organization skills to manage multiple projects/priorities including managing multiple incoming phone calls/emails and website inquiries.
- Ability to adapt with a sense of urgency.
- Full understanding of the entire sales process required.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, in particular the JobBOSS system a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with social media and website management helpful.
