Job Overview (What You’ll Do):
Cotopaxi is seeking a Temporary Graphic Designer to join our creative team from June - September 2024. As a Graphic Designer, you will help bring our brand to life through visually compelling designs for print and digital applications. You will work on projects that range from email and paid social advertisements to print graphics for wholesale and retail applications.
Ideal for a candidate with 3-5 years of graphic design experience, ideally in a direct-to-consumer e-commerce business, that is creative, innovative, collaborative and eager to contribute to a mission and people driven company.
Job Responsibilities (How You’ll Do It):
- Work with the VP of Creative Design, Director of Production, and other in-house Graphic Designers to design fall product campaign assets. Designs may include emails, assets for paid and organic social media, and print designs for wholesale partners and owned retail stores.
- Design monthly media campaigns, adhering to Cotopaxi brand guidelines to build ongoing marketing assets for mini campaigns and sales moments.
- Ideate on upcoming seasonal campaigns.
The Ideal Candidate (What You Need to Succeed):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design (or related field) or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of graphic design experience, ideally in a direct-to-consumer e-commerce business.
- Thorough understanding of print and web design principles.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
- Ability to execute concepts effectively and efficiently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders.
