Role Responsibilities
Your work will focus on the mental and emotional health of seniors who may face complex emotional, behavioral, or adjustment challenges. This includes providing individual therapy, behavioral health interventions, and supportive counseling aimed at enhancing resilience, improving mood, and promoting a higher quality of life. You may address issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, cognitive changes, adjustment to new living environments, or behavioral concerns related to chronic illness.
Unlike many mental health positions, you will spend the majority of your time delivering therapy, not managing administrative tasks or meeting productivity quotas. Clinicians at Cotler are free to apply their professional judgment and experience to meet the needs of each individual client.
