This role requires traveling throughout DFW, other parts of Texas, and out of state.
Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Carry out basic construction tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, and loading/unloading materials
- Support skilled workers by providing tools, supplies, and assistance as needed throughout various phases of construction projects
- Follow safety protocols diligently by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety guidelines at all times
- Operate basic construction equipment under supervision, such as wheelbarrows, hand trucks, or small power tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work site by disposing of waste properly and keeping tools in good condition
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality standards are upheld
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately to supervisors for prompt resolution
Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding manual labor in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
