Hours: 5 hours per day/ 25 hours per week

DEFINITION OF POSITION
Under supervision, to prepare and assist in preparation of school lunches; to operate a cash register; to set out, serve, and sell food; to clean equipment and work areas, and to do related work as required.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of:
- Methods of preparing, cooking, and baking in large quantity
- Sanitary and safety measures in food service preparation and serving
- Methods of cleaning and maintaining food service areas, Utensils and equipment
- Sanitary and safety measures in food service preparation
Ability to:
- Follow oral and written directions
- Work cooperatively with others
- Maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work
- Finish assigned work on time
- Operate a cash register and make change accurately
- Sell and serve food efficiently
- Prepare and cook meals and baked goods in large quantity
- Prepare vegetables, salads, sandwiches and other foods as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
Some experience in food handling and kitchen clean-up desirable.
- Bilingual Preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.28 - $22.08 per hour
