Job Description:
Join our dynamic team as a hybrid-remote Principal Cloud Engineer and play a key role in shaping innovative, secure, and scalable cloud solutions. In this role, you’ll work with leading platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS designing and deploying infrastructure that powers mission-critical applications.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure using platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
Implement and manage cloud-based applications and services.
Automate infrastructure and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Monitor system performance and reliability; identify and resolve technical issues.
Ensure security best practices are followed and assist with compliance requirements.
Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Github, Jenkins, Artifactory, or related.
Optimize cloud costs through analysis and scaling strategies.
Provide support for cloud-based environments, including on-call support as needed.
Knowledge of project management and technical analysis using tools like jira, confluence, spreadsheets
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
4 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
Experience with cloud automation and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, CloudFormation).
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing in a cloud context.
Knowledge of cloud security best practices and tools.
